Stands on the highest part of the original village. Built in the 1100s, possibly on the site of an older Saxon church, it was much altered in the 1400s and the 1800s. The tower was completely rebuilt in 1869 since it fell down whilst being repaired! Notable graves near the entrance are those of the Beaumont and Crossley families.
