Millennium Park - January
The first visit to record species was on 24 January 2008, a bright and windy day.
Birds recorded: Carrion Crow (Corvus corone corone), Blackbird (Turdus merula), Magpie (Pica pica) and Black Headed Gull (Larus ridibudus). One of the dog walkers reported that she had seen a Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) during the week.
Plants in flower: Daisy (Bellis perennis), Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis), Dandelion (Taraxacum agg.); also an early Daffodil in flower though did not record whether it was wild or garden hybrid.
